Course Synopsis
European and International standards are not law, but this course will give you a basic understanding of how standards can meet a level of presumption to compliance for both new and existing machinery. This 2 day course is designed to give you an understanding of how European and International standards work. This in turn will help you meet the legal requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. This course focuses on the most common and up to date European and International standards as listed in the official journal of the European Union. When first encountering European and International standards it can be quite daunting. Our training team will ensure that sessions are broken down in to manageable bite-sized chunks, giving you plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss topics relevant to your business needs. Throughout this course there will be many practical examples and lots of pictorial references to real life situations in order to clarify and expand your knowledge base of this subject. We will discuss and evaluate actual examples taken from the standards and explain them in simple terms in order for you to be able to offer practical and realistic solutions to everyday problems you face in your business.
All our courses are delivered by fully trained and qualified lecturers with a wealth of knowledge and experience in their given fields.
